ENSIFERUM - ENSIFERUM (2001)

Ensiferum es una banda finesa de genero Epic Folk Metal formada en 1995 en La Ciudad de Helsinki, Finlandia. El nombre de la banda hace referencia de un guerrero mitológico, un guerrero de larga barba, subido a una pequeña barca mientras empuña su espada. La banda fue fundada por por Markus Toivonen, Sauli Savolainen y Kimmo Miettinen. El album debut homónimo fue lanzado el 07 de enero de 2001, bajo el sello discográfico Spinefarm Records. Un album que en lo personal lo considero muy atractivo con ese sonido de guitarras acústicas, los coros, los riffs pegadizos con líricas heroicas. Sin duda un gran trabajo de los finlandeses. Definitivamente un disco digerible de principio a fin con tintes melódicos bien pegadizos. DISCO RECOMENDADO!!!
