Korpiklaani es una banda Finlandesa de Folk Metal influenciada bastante folclore fines. Poseen un sonido en sus violines que dan un atmósfera única a la banda. La banda surgió en 2003 en la Ciudad de Lahti fundada por el músico Jonne Järvelä. El album debut se titula "Spirit of the Forest", publicado el 10 de noviembre de 2003, bajo el sello discográfico Napalm Records.
